Czech glass tradition

Made in Northern Bohemia, where glass beadmaking dates back to the 14th century, these beads are molded, machine-faceted and polished in direct fire. Fire polishing softens the facets for a gentler appearance than sharply cut crystals while creating a brilliant, scratch-resistant glass surface. These cost-effective beads are usually produced in smaller batches, so sizing and shape may vary slightly.
